Founded in 1999 as a music project, Nya Perspektiv is now a non-profit arts organization dedicated to presenting contemporary music, sound art, and interdisciplinary artistic expression. Our program explores music at the intersection of genres, as well as collaborations between music and dance, poetry, and visual art.
Our mission is to create sustainable opportunities for contemporary artistic expression, provide an alternative to more commercial music promoters, and stimulate creative processes within the region.
Most of the artists we present are well established, often with an international profile. At the same time, Nya Perspektiv is committed to supporting emerging artists by providing a platform for performance and experimentation.
This takes place through a broad range of activities and concert events, with a particular focus on electroacoustic music, sound art, and other forms of work that explore musical and artistic boundaries.
