The aim of Perspectives 2004 is to give Västerås
and Sweden an international festival with
music that is alive, making new paths in the
music and in ourselves. A festival with creative
music, a festival with new perspectives!

Welcome to four days liberated from the
superficial safeness of recognition. Instead we want to open
our minds to what we couldn’t hear, see or understand earlier.
Welcome to a festival that makes our reality greater and richer!

Derek Bailey unfortunately has to cancel the gig with GUSH during the "Perspectives 2004", due to illness. We wish Derek a quick recovery!
We have managed to find another GUSHguest with very short notice...the SENSATIONAL violinist Philipp Wachsman!!! A former collaborator with GUSH (check the live electronic-based CD "GUSHWachs" on Bead Records) and a true pioneer and virtuoso master player of free improvised music!
